Beyond Expectations

I initially had planned on doing only one figure competition just to get into fantastic shape and have pictures of myself on stage. My reasoning, so that one day I could look back and say I did something totally out of the box!

Well, after taking 2nd place in my first show in 2010 I had been bitten by the bug and decided to pursue it long term. By 2013 I had attained a major goal to obtain my pro card within the IFBB!!!!

By 2013 I had also helped a number of my figure competition clients to attain their own success. A current goal is to create a team of figure competitors who will support one another in moving toward their figure competition goals. Stay tuned.

A Little More About Me

I’m a mom of two smart, fun and challenging teenagers, a boy and a girl.  I run a household with all the usual responsibilities, grocery shopping, laundry, meal prep, homework, and referee all while working full time.  All you parents out there get what I’m describing. And, even if you don’t have a family there are still day-to-day activities that have to be taken care of by YOU.

I understand the particular challenges most today face when it comes to trying to stay in shape while juggling family and career.  It can be stressful and overwhelming. My job is to create an attainable plan and assist you in achieving your goals.

I’ve found a way to make it work, have fun and reach your fitness goals while keeping the rest of your life in balance.

Good Health Is Your Foundation

Women: You don’t have to sacrifice your health in order to be true to your other responsibilities. In fact, if you’re sacrificing your health, how well can you perform at any level?

I grew up in Natick, Massachusetts and now reside in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Most of my professional career was in equity financial sales and trading.

I’ve always been physically active – figure skating as a child, playing basketball throughout grammar school and college. I also taught aerobics classes for Richard Simmons Anatomy Asylum.

Today…

Now I’m a National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) – CPR/AED certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, Weight Management Consultant, NPC Amateur National Figure competitor, Scivation representative! In 2013 I attained my master’s degree in clinical nutrition at the University of Bridgeport, paving the way to include advanced nutrition coaching to my figure competition coaching.

In the summer of 2010 I decided to try my hand at figure competing. When you visit my competition history tab you can view my competition history in detail. I did four competitions in 2010 and it was an amazing journey. I’ve continued competing on a regular basis and coaching others to compete up to the present moment with consistent success.
